Chiang Mai Lanna CC committee member Tom Salusbury raised over 10,000 baht for CMSCA and HTF when his favourite local bar Blue Sky hosted a fundraising evening on his birthday. A pool competition was organized to raise money and Tom also put together a raffle, where it took an unexpected turn when the numerous prizes were very kindly auctioned off by nearly all the winners.
Tom’s family along with many of his pool mates and quite a number of Lanna cricketers had an enjoyable evening with lots of free food for all. Many thanks to Tom for raising such a significant amount of money, which will help fund the Hilltribe Cricket Program based in Lamphun. The HTF has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2009, helping underprivileged kids with all their needs from education, accommodation and of course playing the beautiful game of cricket.
