Thailand off to perfect start at SEA Games

All went according to plan for the Thailand men's team as they beat Myanmar by nine wickets in their first match of the 50-over competition at the SEA Games at Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur. Junior cricketers who have played plenty of cricket for and against Lanna were at the fore as Chanchai Pengkamta took an early wicket with the new ball as Myanmar were bowled out for 61 with the Thai spinners sharing eight wickets. Bunchuai Sombatraksa took his rightful place at the top of the order and was as solid as a rock as he saw Thailand through to an impressive victory with an unbeaten 16 from 44 balls.
