Lanna CC joined forces with the UN Irish Pub and a new team was created to take part in the 2023 edition of the Chiang Mai Sixes as the CM Sixes returned after a four-year absence. The team qualified for the Shield competition and fully enjoyed the social side of the tournament.
The season ended with the club supporting Thai junior cricketers in a series of matches at Gymkhana Club and the good news is that both Lamphun boys and girls teams reached the finals of the under-15 national championships,
The boys won their final to become national champions and some of the team will be joining Lanna in the 2023 edition of the Koh Chang Beach Cricket while others are playing in the national championships at senior level.
